The TAVERN WOODWORKERS GUILD was established in 2008 under the sponsorship of the RH/HT Foundation Inc. 

 

 

The Guild is organized primarily for educational purposes, including:

	to encourage and facilitate the establishment of training programs for aspiring woodworkers;
	to disseminate information about sources of material and equipment;
	to expose the art of woodworking to the public;
	to make items typical of the tavern era for sale to the public;
	to provide information about woodworking for the general public.

Any person, firm, school, museum engaged in/or interested in woodworking may become a member.

 

The Guild is currently building Shaker Boxes to sell in the Tavern Gift Shop and at the Farmers' Markets. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Guild is seeking a permanent workshop location and is accepting donations of woodworking equipment & materials.   We are temporarily working at a member's shop.
